Julie Olver
Marketing Manager
Julie has dedicated her career to developing and implementing successful marketing and communications strategies that leave a lasting impact on communities and organizations. She has served as ThriveED’s Marketing Manager since 2016.
Julie’s passion for marketing and storytelling is evident in her diverse skill set, encompassing communication and writing, research, strategic planning, digital communications, website development and brand management. Her work has been recognized by the International Economic Development Council, having received an Excellence in Economic Development award in 2019 for her work on the ThriveED website.
Julie earned a BA in Journalism and Public Relations, as well as an MA in Journalism and Mass Communication, from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Julie serves as Vice President of the Board of Trustees for the Dwight Foster Public Library, President of the Friends of the Dwight Foster Public Library and marketing committee member for the Rock River Community Clinic. She is also a member of the IEDC’s Marketing and Communications committee and the American Marketing Association.
